Early Posttransplant Complications

This complications may affect the long term graft and patient survival and may be originated surgical and medical reasons. The most important medical complications are acute rejection, acute tubular necrosis, infections, drug toxicities, metabolic disturbances, hypervolemia and congestive heart failure. Sometimes medical complications may cause life treatening conditions. The wound related problems, bleeding, thrombosis and urinary leakeage are the main surgical complications. Both medical and surgical complications should be diagnosed and treated promptly. In otherwise, early and late allograft and patient survival may be affected negatively.
